Stretch marks are scars. Honest treatment can soften them substantially. Honest expectations matter more than which laser is used.

Stretch marks are tears in the dermal layer of the skin caused by rapid stretching. They appear during pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss, adolescent growth spurts, or significant muscle gain. The marks start red or purple (striae rubra) and fade over time to white or silver (striae alba).
Treatment can soften them substantially. It rarely eliminates them. We're honest about the difference.
Clients come in wanting to address marks from pregnancy, weight loss, or other causes. They want to feel more confident in clothing, swimwear, and intimate settings. Many have tried creams and oils without significant results. Treatment offers measurably better outcomes than topicals.
Stretch marks form when the skin stretches faster than collagen and elastin can adapt.
Pregnancy is the most common cause, particularly across the abdomen and breasts.
Rapid weight changes in either direction stress the dermal structure.
Growth spurts during adolescence can produce marks across the back, hips, and thighs.
Significant muscle gain from athletic training can produce marks on the upper arms, chest, or thighs.
The marks start red, purple, or pink. They're often slightly raised or indented from the surrounding skin. Over months to years, they fade to white or silver. This older form is harder to treat than the fresh, red form.
Fresh stretch marks (striae rubra) are easier to treat. They respond well to laser, particularly vascular laser, and to microneedling.
Older stretch marks (striae alba) are more challenging. The pigment changes are permanent. Surface texture can be improved meaningfully with combined treatments, but complete elimination is rarely possible.
The industry approaches stretch marks with several layered modalities.
Microneedling with PRP stimulates collagen and remodels surface texture.
Fractional laser resurfaces and rebuilds dermal structure.
BBL or IPL can address residual color in red marks.
Some clinics also recommend topical retinoids and tretinoin alongside in-office treatments.
We're honest. Stretch marks soften with treatment. They rarely disappear.
For fresh, red marks, vascular laser like BBL combined with microneedling delivers the best outcomes. The combination addresses color and texture together.
For older, white marks, the path is longer and the results more modest. Halo or Moxi fractional resurfacing combined with microneedling delivers improvement in texture and surface quality across multiple sessions.
We typically plan three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Most clients see meaningful improvement. Few see complete elimination, and we say so up front.
At RN Esthetics, every treatment starts with listening. We are nurse practitioners, registered nurses and estheticians who treat every client as the hero of their own story.
No real downtime. You may have mild redness for a short time after extractions, but skin generally looks brighter and more hydrated the same day. Custom facials are easy to do before an event or on a normal day.
The seaside facial is Patty's signature treatment, a slower, deeply relaxing facial built around her massage technique that works the face and the nervous system at once. Patty is the only provider who performs it, so book with her specifically.
We do. The teen and tween facial focuses on active breakouts and, just as much, on education, teaching younger clients how to care for their skin so good habits start early. It is a calm, no-pressure introduction to professional skincare.

Had my first blood draw today with it was INCREDIBLE!!! Also the front desk were all so pleasant especially Kelsie! I highly recommend RN Esthetics!!
I was truly blown away after my appointment here. Every single person I interacted with, from the front desk to the providers who handled my treatments, was incredible! They made me feel so welcomed and cared for, and were both informative and genuinely kind. The space itself is spotless, cozy, and easily the most inviting place I’ve ever been for Botox. Michelle did my Botox and she was amazing! I also had a hydrafacial and dermaplaning, and I already can’t wait to come back again and again. You will not regret booking here!
I highly recommend RN Esthetics! The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful without making you feel rushed. The facility is spotless and clean, which made me feel even more comfortable and confident being there. Great experience overall!
