Radiesse occupies a middle ground between HA filler and pure collagen stimulators. The calcium hydroxylapatite particles provide immediate volume, like filler, and also stimulate your own collagen production over the following months. It's particularly effective for the jawline, chin, and hands.

Radiesse works in two phases. Immediately, the gel carrier provides volume to the treated area, similar to how filler works. Over time, the gel resorbs while the CaHA microspheres remain, acting as a scaffold for your fibroblast cells to lay down new collagen.
By the three- to six-month mark, your own collagen has taken over the volumization. By twelve months, results are mostly your own tissue, supported by gradually integrating microspheres. The product fully metabolizes by 18 months.
Radiesse is especially effective for areas that need structural support, the jawline, the chin, the back of the hands. It's not appropriate for delicate areas like lips or tear troughs, where its firmer consistency would feel and look wrong.
Your provider reviews your goals and assesses your anatomy. Radiesse works two ways: an immediate volumizing effect plus a collagen response that builds over time. We discuss whether you want full-strength Radiesse for structure (jawline, lower face, hands) or hyperdilute Radiesse for skin quality.
Injections placed through a needle or cannula. Radiesse contains lidocaine. The session runs thirty to sixty minutes depending on the areas being treated.
Some swelling, possible bruising, and a small chance of palpable nodules early on. Most subside within the first week. Ice as needed. The immediate volumizing effect is visible right away.
The calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres trigger ongoing collagen production. The result keeps improving for several months after the visible filling effect has settled.
Most patients return at twelve to eighteen months. Some areas, like the jawline, hold longer than others. We assess at each visit and decide whether to refresh or wait.
At RN Esthetics, every treatment starts with listening. We are Nurse Practitioners, RNs and Estheticians who treat every client as the hero of their own story.
Select an area to explore treatments. Every recommendation is backed by a clinical consultation.

Platysmal bands, horizontal lines, and the laxity that often appears before the face changes.
The line that defines the lower face. Filler and biostimulators here sharpen contour and support sagging.
Projection, contour, and the orange-peel dimpling that comes from an overactive mentalis muscle.
The crease running from the nose to the corner of the mouth. Often improved indirectly by restoring cheek volume.
The midface anchor. Volume here lifts the lower face and restores the youthful triangle.
Volume loss at the temple creates a sunken appearance and disrupts the upper-face frame.
Radiesse is priced per syringe. Most jawline or chin contouring takes 1-2 syringes. Hands typically take 1.5-3 syringes for both. Prices listed are starting points. The right structural plan is built at consultation.
Biostimulators don't fill. They prompt your body to build its own collagen over months. The result is yours, not the product's.
Results unfold over three to six months across multiple sessions. We work with clients who understand that gradual change is often the most natural-looking change.
Unlike HA filler, biostimulators aren't reversible. We're rigorous about candidacy because the stakes are higher.
These products work best for structural change: skin laxity, foundational volume, body texture. We use them where shape matters more than line.
Both. Radiesse adds immediate volume the day of injection and continues to stimulate collagen production for months after. That's what makes it different from pure HA filler (immediate only) or pure Sculptra (gradual only). You see something right away, and the result keeps improving.
Each location has its own character. All three share the same standard of care.
Standard Radiesse is full-strength and used for structural support. Hyperdilute Radiesse is the same product mixed with saline and lidocaine, applied across larger areas like the neck, chest, or upper arms. The dilution shifts the product from a contouring tool to a skin quality tool, stimulating collagen and improving texture and laxity over a broader surface.
Radiesse is priced per syringe. Most areas need one to two syringes depending on the goal. Hyperdilute Radiesse protocols for skin quality use different math. We don't quote pricing without seeing you because the right amount depends on the area and the protocol.
Radiesse contains lidocaine, so the area numbs during injection. The initial pinch is mild. Some swelling and possible bruising in the first week. We use cannula technique for many areas to reduce both.
Most patients see results last twelve to eighteen months in structural areas like the jawline and lower face. Hand rejuvenation can hold even longer. The collagen stimulation contributes to the duration, which is why Radiesse outlasts most HA fillers.

Had my first blood draw today with it was INCREDIBLE!!! Also the front desk were all so pleasant especially Kelsie! I highly recommend RN Esthetics!!
I was truly blown away after my appointment here. Every single person I interacted with, from the front desk to the providers who handled my treatments, was incredible! They made me feel so welcomed and cared for, and were both informative and genuinely kind. The space itself is spotless, cozy, and easily the most inviting place I’ve ever been for Botox. Michelle did my Botox and she was amazing! I also had a hydrafacial and dermaplaning, and I already can’t wait to come back again and again. You will not regret booking here!
I highly recommend RN Esthetics! The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful without making you feel rushed. The facility is spotless and clean, which made me feel even more comfortable and confident being there. Great experience overall!
