Four decades in, the field looks completely different than it did when I started. We have lasers, medical-grade skincare, modalities that weren't possible in 1989. The fundamentals didn't change though. You assess the skin, you assess the person, you treat with intention. I still teach the same way I treat: carefully, slowly, with a real conversation behind every decision.
